Busy Weekend, now with two houses

This broken branch tree is in the backyard of the new house. That branch broke some time ago, possible during a winter snow, with freezing rain. There are also about 15 - 20 water sprouts coming out of everywhere from being pruned at the wrong time of year. This tree needs a lot of tender loving care because this is what it will look like in bloom.................

While we were at the house on Sunday putting up a mail box, I gathered these for our center piece for our monthly Sunday Cafe dinner. Once that tree is pruned properly, guess where a comfortable chair will sit during sunny days for a little relaxing? Yep right there under the leafy canopy.

Purging, painting and packing

With the water and power turned on at the new house, we are in full gear to get it painted and prettied up for moving.

 There is soooo much to do.

Fortunately with the cold weather and snow (yes more snow!) this wood stove did the trick to keep us warm.

Along with the move to the new house, there will be a bit of remodeling to Mom's Sunday Cafe as well. I guess it is time for a little spring cleaning around here.
