What we ARE NOT eating Wednesday..........Tangy Prune

I don't want to sound like a traitor, but in the interest of fairness, this comes from the same cookbook that those wonderful Whoopie Pies, came from. Yep The Marshmallow Fluff Cookbook.......but you know how much I support the eating of prunes, right? I wanted to like it, because it was prunes or even because it was marshmallow cream  fluff. But sadly I could not. We will not be eating this sandwich.

Tangy Prune
not cooked from: The Marshmallow Fluff Cookbook
won't make, about 1/2 cup

( don't blame the banana, I just needed it to keep the page open)

the intro:  none
(my notes: this is prune and fluff mixed and spread on bread)

1/2 c Marshmallow fluff
1/4 c pureed prunes
1 t freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/8 t salt

2 slices bread

Mix together all the ingredients (except bread) until smooth. Spread on bread.

I don't know which is worse, wasting the prunes or wasting the Marshmallow Fluff! Let's wander and find something good to eat, shall we?

Grilled Fruit makes a delicious dessert. Drool over this, from Family Balance Sheet

We are eating and enjoying more fish here. This one looks delicious and is adaptable to any white fish, also making is a frugal choice.

We all knew I could not complete this round-up without at least a couple of desserts! Thanks Joy, this carrot cake would be lovely on my dessert plate!

OK, alright, make that 3 desserts! This one also needs to be made!

I have been thinking about these sandwiches since I first heard about them! And now without further ado...

Melynda, you know what? I'm not totally against fluff and prune sandwiches. :D I mean it's not my first choice for a sandwich, but..........it beats fluff and liver, okay? And thanks for the shout out!!

BTW, I thought you had stopped this and I was so disappointed......whew! My week is not complete until I know what I won't be eating.

Out of all your "What we're not eating" recipes, this one is by far, not the worst. I would try it. Prunes, fluff, what's not to like?

How very unappetizing! Ruining that good marshmallow fluff like that. What a shame! Thanks for featuring me!

I would take the pureed prune with the lemon juice over my bread, sounds like jam! But not the marshmallow fluff together, it does not sound nice!
Thank you for featuring my carrot cake! Have a lovely day, Melynda!

I will have to say this is not something I would rush to make, and I'll eat anything.
