There is always a chore to complete after work or a package to wrap............many of these are homemade. I was not able to be 100% homemade but did reach over 60%. There are more to assemble (food/kitchen) and one Honey will help with, it involves power tools! We decorate the tree on Saturday. Christmas this year brought more thought, as I wanted to go back to homemade and from the heart.
the wreckage left behind is too embarrassing to show!
Year Around Salad
Sunset Salad Book

3 hard cooked eggs
1 T vinegar
1/2 t sugar
3/4 t salt
2 T mayonnaise
Shred the lettuce, slice bananas and coarsely chop eggs. Toss together with the vinegar, sugar, salt and mayonnaise. Serve at once. Makes 4 servings.
Thanks given to Rocquie, she is joining in again this week, take a look at what she is NOT eating!
No wandering links this week, if your house is anything like this one, you have a missing ingredient - time!
Oh just a reminder that there is a smackdown to visit and show off your best raisin recipe. Come on, you know you want to!
As always, thanks so much for visiting!

I think I'd eat that one.
Bananas and eggs? I think I'll pass this too!
Okay - I'm totally with you on this one! Bananas and lettuce just do not go together.
I won't be eating that either! I think it's wonderful that most of your gifts are home made. Mine are most definately not. I am spending a lot less this year though.
Egads! My mind won't even let me imagine what that weird combination of ingredients would taste like.
Bananas? Weird . . . though I do love this fruit salad with grapes and bananas and a yoghurt sauce that my sister made for Thanksgiving.
Banana's and eggs...the only dish I want them together in is a baked banana bread. Such a unique recipe...bleh!
Bananas, eggs and lettuce? Seriously, who could possibly think that sounds good, lol!? I'm making my raising recipe this weekend - will be posting it on Monday! :o)
I'm with you. Not eating that either. Christmas kind of stresses me out. Always has. I'm tying for a low key Christmas this year. We'll see how I do.
Good luck with the packaging and salads. I also find it hard this time of year. Things just aren't nearly as fresh and appetizing, are they?
It might not be that bad...but I'm not gonna rush out and make it either.
Hmm. This one seems like a controversy between those who would and wouldn't want to eat the stuff. I suppose if I had to eat one of the wouldn't eat it entries this one is one of the less offensive :)
