This is what happened, on the 4th. AKA a plug for me!

I don't usually speak up about myself, but wanted to show off my birthday cards. Yes I turned 54 on the 4th. I have the best family. They put together a wonderful dinner for me. And I also did something different this year, I actually wanted something; and then I actually said what I wanted.

That is definitely new for me, I have never said I wanted anything before. Don't get me wrong, I have not said what I wanted to be difficult, or wanted to act like a princess, or expected folks to just know.

I have not said what I wanted, because:

My life has been fairly happy and never felt that I was missing anything I couldn't live without.

And.

My life has been kinda tough and I never wanted loved ones (read that, my children) to feel put upon.

I requested an electronic photo frame. It is wonderful and came filled with photos. I LOVE IT!

A wonderful dinner was put together, 2 pasta dishes, salad, buttered green beans and 2 desserts; carrot cake my all time hands down will eat it anytime anywhere for any reason, and chocolate angle food with sliced strawberries and whipped cream.

Honey had left a birthday card on the kitchen table for me to find upon waking, then another funny one in my cup holder in the car to find on my way to work.

It was a nice evening. I have the best family!
